Reference Help. Conan the Barbarian

Ok, so I guess I'm already starting the planning phases for Halloween 2010.
I want it to be big!

Now, I'm not doing Conan, but after my spartan from this year... my room-mate wants me to help him with this project.
Now trust me when I say... this guy fits the part. I only wish I can get as built as he is.

At any rate, I need the reference. We haven't picked out Conan's specific look yet... but If anyone has any links, albums, history or any sort of information related that you might have for creating this piece as accurate as possible I'd be grateful.

I've already nailed down a decent looking "wallhanger" Atlantean sword that I can modify and make more accurate. (No way we're spending 2000 on the Albion), so everything else is required.

Going for CONAN: The Barbarian OR The Destroyer movies.

I've actually found a decent amount of visual reference after... oh, 7 hrs of looking...
But what I'm missing are actual details on construction of this costume. Screen used pieces, materials, etc...
I'm just trying to get as much info as I can, I hate flying blind but I love the thrill.

^THIS^ will be your absolute best bet to get photos of Conan (THE BARBARIAN, the Destroyer is largely disregarded (as it should be)).

you forget that the starting inspiration was a spartan costume
if you dont like wearing pants than destroyer may be the movie for you

Conan in the black and white camouflage paint is awesome.
