I have been in awe of the pep builds out there and have been wanting to do one myself for a while now. I have been a fan of the Warhammer 40k novels for quite a while and decided Space Marine armour was the go.

I found some files and a lot of help on the Obscurus Crusade site and took the plunge.

First off I started with the helmet.

Having come to the conclusion that pep'ing wasn't as hard as I thought (tedious yes but not hard:rolleyes) I printed out my next set of "un-folds" and set to work.

The chest armour and the left arm pieces.

By this stage I was getting sidetracked and looking for weapons to make, I needed to get that out of my system.

Found a nice file for a Plasma Pistol and had a "crack" at it.

Ok...got that out of my system :) . I can get back to making the armour.

that is really clean
what did you use to put the pieces together??

Very nice and clean! I'm impressed. Don't know anything about the Warhammer universe, but I'll be watching your progress for sure.

Re: My 1st attempt at a Pep costume.

great start, but you've certainly got alot of work ahead of you, good luck with your build

Re: My 1st attempt at a Pep costume.

Where did you get the pep files? Every single file that I have checked so far has been deleted, or is unvalid. :-(

Re: My 1st attempt at a Pep costume.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. :)

I'm using superglue to stick all the "tabs" together. Tried using a low heat glue gun but just got hot glue all over myself :rolleyes.

Ha! I do that even with brush-on super glue gel (which I highly recommend so far).

Re: My 1st attempt at a Pep costume.

Right arm pieces and both shoulder pauldrons.

Working on the cod/butt piece atm, once that is done I'll take a break from the pep work and start getting some resin and fibreglass on the pieces I've done.

Till next time..........................

Re: My 1st attempt at a Pep costume.

As stated in my last post I'm going to start getting some fibreglass on to the parts you see.

Till next time.................
