Question for you foam gurus

When transferring your templates onto foam and cutting, do you keep all the straight lines and angles that you know form curves, or do you draw out the curves?

For instance, here are two parts for my MK4 legs...i can see where the curved surfaces are "created"...should i cut the curves in, or cut line for line just as if i were making a paper pep? What have you guys gotten the best results from?

Thanks in advance!

I normally wing it, and cut the curves in. If you keep checking the parts by holding them at the angle they would be and together, you can get pretty accurate curved edges.

I take the opposite approach, and leave the straight edges and angles. I find it easier to attach the pieces accurately that way.

Looks like both approaches will work if you're careful about it. :)
