For a better example of the vest colors:
Here are some better shots of the pieces with my digital

And I can't believe I'm actually trying to do this...
3 yards of pinstriping.
4 lines took 15 minutes including a bobbin respoole. I need to get dedication tattooed onto my hands or something...

Desperation and lack of funds leads people to do extreme things. All for the sake of saving money, and accuracy! You just hope that somewhere along the way you picked up the knowledge or the talent to make it look good.

Edit*
I HATE MY LIFE RIGHT NOW... lol. It's actually not taking as long as I thought but I'm going to have to get a lot more top-stitching thread than I anticipated.
I dyed the pants fabric last night as well.... much more purple! Photographs blu-ish under flash. I'm very pleased

Re: post your joker suits

does anyone have experience with TRAUMAFX Joker scars?
Do you guys have any recommendations for screen ready (re-usable) scar appliances?

thanks guys... finished the pin-striping early this afternoon after I got off work.
Started sewing and at 3AM here's what I've got!

Just have to alter the back for my waistline, add the belt inside facing, and hem the pants.

Re: post your joker suits

Looking great! Coming along very well. As for scars, I would recommend Jester FX scars.

Re: post your joker suits

another question
(see ima have to wait on shirt fabric, little our fot he price range right now, but it will be mine)

where did you find the happy gray stuff for the back of the vest, ive been looking every where for it and cant seem to find it

and as for your pants, are you just machine stitching straight lines with like a light purple thread?

cause the last time i did something like that was when i did Jack Skelington
(luckily those lines didnt have to be straight and a quarter inch apart)
