The y-wing helmet looks great. Is it A4 or letter format?
    Thanks

Are you going to make the .pdo for this available? I would like to build it, but
I use a CraftRobo to cut it, It saves crazy amounts of time and is pretty accurate.

not trying to Hijack so I'll post a topic I started that has a video if anyone wants to know more about the CraftRobo

I'll release the .pdo soon, I'm still tinkering with it. I'm adding the visor and a few greeblies to it.

@ Nobody, It is Letter, I'll post the A4 soon.

Now a pep for Wal*Mart's greatest superhero...

This is based on the awesome blueprint by Ghostsoldier
    Download the .pdo here.
Fill the void areas inside with something rigid that fits inside based on the thickness of the material you are using. Glue the sides first and put something heavy and flat on top of them until the glue dries. Long strips like this tend to curl/bend/deform in odd ways unless you keep it flat somehow.

Here's a bigger pic of the name tag. It is not accurate by the way, just something I threw together from a pic of a real WalMart tag. The one from the movie is made of pvc with a magnetic back. Some of you retail guys know what I'm talking about.

    Edit:
I'm working on the Daft Punk "Guy" helmet now. Here's the 360 turnaround.

Just watched Book of eli and wow thats an awesome movie! Ill have to do this soon. Your models are taking over ALL of my free time...and I have alot of that Thanks for the tips on building the knife. I'm glad you did this because I dont have the tools to cut sheet metal :-/ Your work has honestly inspired me to start modeling seriously now. I think my second thing will be...the nazi rocketeer (helmet and jetpack). Simple helmet for a beginner like me at making wearable models, I just would like to find a german helmet pep to use as a base to save some time

Hey Dung0Beetle, did you ever finish that Stormtrooper pep? Last I saw you just had the helmet left to go. I love your work and was looking forward to seeing that when it was finished.

Also, have you ever tried doing a Megaman X bucket? I'm a rookie in 3DS max but I'm having a go at it.

::Just saw your blog, very nice work sir::

I talked to Dung yesterday, he's getting ready to move to another state. So it may be a while before he puts out anything.

    Download it here!

Can anybody tell me how to increase the scale of this to make it wearable? I'm using Adobe Reader 9 with the settings Letter and Landscape for the printer. The first version I printed and started to build appears to be about half the size it would need to be. Thanks

    Download it here!

I guess I'll work on the gladiator lid too.

    Edit:

I started the gladiator helmet. The flower shaped rivet thing on the "hinge" will have to be a circle, but I'll add more detail to keep the overall shape smooth.

    Hey DB,

looks great, but I personally think it΄s more "Destro" than "Dr.Doom", though. What did you base your sculpt on? My Doom knowledge isn΄t probably up to date

I agree, it does look like Destro, but it is the Fantastic 4 movie version. It loses the "Doom" look because I didn't put the rivet details in...especially around the eyes.

i saw book of eli the other day and swore he had a kmart name tag instead of a walmart one.

I watched it again, you are correct, I'm working on a correct name tag. I'll update the pep file once It's done. I'll also enlarge the center hole in the blade. I was hoping nobody would notice before I fixed it :P

SO I have a few questions. This year I am trying to do my kids halloween costume from pep. Last year I did vacuumforming and well, I am hoping this is easier. Anyway I am trying to find a republic commando helmet. I found torso armor and was able to scale it to his size so thats a plus. However I was not to bright and did it all from printer paper and not cardstock. Is there anyway to save the 12 hrs of cutting I put into this so far?
