    Oct 27, 2007 - Part 7 Jason on a budget #1

Hey guys, I just finished up my halloween costume for this year. It's far from perfect but it's good enough for a halloween party. Everything to make this costume ran me about $150 could be a few bucks more or less pending on what you have kicking around.

Sorry about the pics, as it turns out, i'm not much of a poser and my friend isn't much of a photographer.

That looks great, costumes don't have to cost the earth, only thing i would add is sleeves over your bare arms, take an old top cut of the arms, add latex and tissue to the arms colour with acrylic/latex 50/50 mix and done, cheap as chips

Good Job!! The costume looks really good but I agree about the arms. It's very easy to latex some sleeves. Just buy some liquid latex and toilet paper. Layer on the latex and tissue paper for a "skin" effect. That's what I did to mine along with the legs. Also take some acrylic spray paint (Black and Brown) and spray around the edges of where you cut and tore the shirt and pants. It makes the costume look dirty and old. Here is mine...

I inted on doing the tissue paper and liquid latex route, I just didn't *need* to do it at the time. Further more I didn't feel like cleaning them off but I will be doing it on halloween. Thanks for the compliments
