Optimus Prime Motorcycle Helmet

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this site and wanted to show you the progress of my fully functional motorcycle helmet that is airbrushed to look like Optimus Prime. The idea and inspiration came from me but the artwork and the creation of this helmet came from Rek's MOTORCYCLE HELMETS
The antennas were made from cardboard and strengthen with fiberglass as well as the top pieces. This is a fully functional helmet with the face shield airbrushed but leaving the eyes unpainted. We have just started to finish the helmet and I will post the final product when completed. I think my next project is to make my own full pepakura Iron Man suit after browsing this web site. I will post the final product in a few days and I can't wait to see it.

That's fun. Can't wait to see the completed piece. You need to rig your bike to make the transforming sound when you start it up.

That would be a great idea. I really want a full functional Halo helmet too that I can wear around town too, with led lights.

Hi - cool looking helmet! I used to do these myself but never added anything physical to the helmet, just paint and lacquer. I was told it would adversely affect the structural integrity.

Anyways - it looks brilliant, and I bet it'll be fun to wear. Looking forward to seeing more progress!

I was thinking that you might be interested. Rek's site is MOTORCYCLE HELMETS

I am just the consumer but he is already thinking about a Halo helmet with LED lights.

Ahh, ok. I read it all backwards...

I thought the inspiration came from Rek, and that you did the paint work yourself...which is why I wanted your website....

If you guys make a Halo suit; he can make fully functional Halo Helmets.

Rek just finished my helmet and it looks awesome. I have attached some pictures. When I get the helmet in a few days I will attach some high resolution pictures.
