Optimus Prime and Megatron
Hey everyone, watched this forum from the sidelines for a while. Thought I'd post something I've done recently.
Just finished up two costumes for a charity event over the weekend. Optimus Prime and Megatron. It was a soapbox derby and these were walking around while our motorized Optimus Prime rig drove down the hill. Not completely accurate to the Gen 1 cartoon, but the best I could do in my free time with a month and a half notice. Optimus ended up standing about 7'6"       Used google sketchup to make the plans and then a whack load of cardboard hot-glue and duct tape. Little dancing on YouTube: YouTube - GenoPrime boogie |

Thanks, It was worth the limited mobility to add an extra foot of height to the Optimus costume. Kinda wish I filled out the legs more though.
