Nigthwing and batgirl

I would like to make a nightwing and batgirl costume for me and my wife. I have minimal cotsuming experience, and would like some direction on werre to look as far as tutorial and supplies. thanks for the help!

This forum is full of information and tutorials on how to do almost everything. I would recommend reading up on "pepakura", this is a way of making something from paper and building up from there. The first thing you might want to do is try searching for a few topics like: pepakura, fiberglassing, and using Bondo. If you plan to make costumes of more than just fabric, these will be your best tools. If you have any trouble finding these topics please let us know. Half of the fun of this forum is reading and learning, and I would hate to deprive you of all the fun . The people here are very nice and helpful, but unless you wish to hire someone to do it for you everything you need is here... All you have to do is search for it.

Thanks for the response. I have heard of these things before, and have been reading up on here about how to use them. I am just not sure what direction to go with applying them to the characters I have chosen to make.

you can start by gathering as much reference pics of the characters, there are several versions of each one.
Once you have chosen the version you want and gathered the pics for them, choose which approach, you can do these characters in:
a) cloth, if you have the figures to match them (i don't, so this wouldn't be my choice) or
b) in fiberglass or foam, in which case, you'll need to learn to use pepakura and the different techniques to execute your costume.
I'm no expert either, but, I'd gone through quite a bit of hit and miss in making some stuff, but bottom line - choose an approach and get the tutorials you'd need. good luck, and most importantly, have fun.

I've been looking around for nightwing peps, but I haven't found anything yet. If I manage to find anything I'll let you know .
