I know it´s been a while since I last posted, but apart from making a lot of things here that are somewhat nondescript, I´m also making this suit -

. so far, all is working well, but I had only something like 2 hours making it, so it is not exactly a lot, but I´ll post pictures once it´s more ready, should there be anyone else interested.

For a modern style i kind of like this one but i rather se a sweet mix of the above and this.
    No, too Batman like…

Funny... Louise Lane looks far more credible dressed up as wonderwoman in this photo from Smalville.

Lame!! There are so many awesome variations existing already. Just look at all the amazing covers Adam Hughes did and pick one that actually feels like armor a warrior would wear.

Another poor attempt by a "costume designer" who just doesn't get it.

If the fabric didn't look like plastic and the boots weren't blue I might let it slide. As it is, it looks like something someone ordered off eBay from China. Maybe all the shiny is what deflects the bullets...

It totally looks like amateur night. There are probably a couple of dozen people on this very forum who could've made a believable costume instead of this junk.

Well, not *with* the model. It is actually the worst thing to find - the girl with the goods to be Wonder Woman, and by goods I really don´t mean the boobs this time (only THIS time, though), for the problem is - height and body proportions. You can see clearly that she has a breastplate, so that part was solved via using a Mannequin and cut its breast plate. The main problem still is getting THE right girl.

For a while, my sister would wear it, but she doesn´t LOOK like Wonder Woman, her face, that is, she looks somewhat like Sandra Bullock, and I don´t like that particular look for WW, that and my sister is WAY too "normal" for that sort of thing.

    meh.

A LITTLE better...but it's still reading "cheeseball" to me -_-. Unless that's what they're going for.

I personally, would have liked something that read better on-screen. The transfer from comic book page to screen is a delicate shift that has to be well thought out...those "armor" pieces still look plastic-y :\.

    Nice 'Zombie Cancer Face' though...

Now if they made the top out of the same red leather as the boots that would work..and got rid if the very shiny plastic 'metal' armour, or at least dulled it down..maybe .....MAYBE it could work.

What's sad is they got it right on Smallville and the photoshopped-modern version looks real world dead on to me. The Amazonian images here look amazing only for the non-cityscape/ Themyscira story line could that costume be acceptable. But still, I could look at these homemade images all day in awe. And how 'off' the professionals are in Hollywoodland are.

Some more shots of the newest version. Looks better. At least the shiny pants are gone. And she now has red boots.

Oh, god, that wonder woman costume is awful, and I hate the supergirl getup too. I don't even know where to start with what I hate about them both, so I wont.

Much better than the first version, but the boots and top are still too shiny. I'm glad they brought the stars back.

I still don't think it will last more than a season, however.

So many brillant talented cosplayer costume designers out there that are yet to be discovered and they pick whoever it was to design this. SADNESS!

yes, looks like a freaking Leg Avenue, Rubies Halloween costume all the way.

In the original image of the blue boots/pants, the stars down the side of the thigh were there. Apparently alot of people, including myself, missed them the first time around.

Personally I think the pants work a lot better these days than the 70's padded-looking panties. I agree that a darker red, leather top would be nice. Less chance of wardrobe malfunction, plus some level of actual protection.
As for the Amazon Warrior skirt idea? Nice in theory, but folks would probably call it a Xena rip-off, (or accuse the creators of pandering to fanboys with panty shots, etc) - Although it did allow us to see Lucy Lawless crushing bad guys between her thighs...

The footage is shaky, but here's the costume in action:
