Are you really trying to make it seem like we are all shut-ins here and have never associated with "da womens folk"? My point in my reply is that she is a grown woman and if she feels the need to speak up in regards to her being offended, she does NOT need anyone here to help her do it. We're all part of some weird, dysfunctional crew of geeks here, so she is well within her means to tell whomever she chooses to F... off.

This Catwoman costume will leave NOTHING to the imagination as it is. Dust, I did warn ya, you'd best have thick skin around here. No one is setting out to disrespect you, or Frosty.
My apologies. I took it the wrong way I guess. It's natural instinct.

It is clearly apparent we do not know each other as well as we should.

To know slave1pilot... ...Is to grin wrly, and roll with slave1pilot.

AND, as a matter of fact - I look forward to meeting Mrs. slave1pilot. I'd ask her size, but (because I've known slave1pilot for a while) I don't have too!
    Slave1pilot is female?

I've been watching this thread too....and if you're going to post a pic of yourself (which you are beautiful, by the way!!!) to show that you are "capable" of pulling off the costume....there are some guys here that will play along. Is it disrespectful??? God I don't know. I really don't.

But this is good discussion......My wife is just now getting into the costume part of the hobby....and I would think if she were to do this particular costume (she can pull it off too ) that she would need to be prepared to hear all the comments that for sure will be made when she wore it.

Which brings me to this question...and either you or Frosty can address it.

I'm assuming it will not be your first time wearing a revealing costume???? How do you deal with guys that "disrespect" you in public.
General Frosty....do you just beat the living crap out of them...or do you have to have a pretty thick skin?

I've always wondered how all those slave leias go out with little more than a strip of cloth covering their ta tas and sha shas and not feel crazy self conscious. But hey...I'm a little uptight I guess

Good luck on the costume. I had the wife take a look and she said "more power to ya!"
You have a valid point. I added fuel to the fire. This is the first forum I ever belonged to so I am not used to those comments. I have worn revealing costumes before. Usually people we are around keep their comments to themselves. Frosty has thick skin. Like I said earlier it was just natural. I didn't post my pic as a tease. But I def. see how it can seem like it.

So my apologies to the fellas. I've only been on here a month and I am still wet behind the ears.

No apology needed to me. I've always been curious how people (especially the guys who have gals in revealing costumes) deal with it. I mean on some level deep down you have to want to pulverize the dudes that are gawking at your honey!

My wife and I are seriously looking forward to seeing it done.

I stand corrected. It seems to be a heavy weaved fabric.

Ah, well then, I take back the faux suede recommendation.

On a separate note, any chance we might get a show-of thread of your past costumes?

I don't think Sunshine Dust needs to be the one apologizing for posting a picture of herself, those who were so crass in their comments need to be the ones apologizing here, but if shes OK with how everything worked out, then I guess that matter should be closed

Thank you for that. It's nice to see details up close. Now only if I knew what kind of fabric that is meant to be.

Hmm...I'm not sure about the material, I'd say it would probably be best to go with whatever material you're comfortable with. I'm interested to see how you handle the boots.

Those are a surprisingly good match.

Were they made for this purpose, or do you think that they might have inspired the person who designed the character?

I think it was just a coincidence that I found them searching for knee high boots on ebay. They make them in other colors so I don't think anyone made them for any paticular reason. But lucky me right? It's probably going to be the first piece I purchase being I don't have to have it custom made.

Well, speaking from personal experience... I am 53 and my fiance' is 21, and a total babe. She LOVES wearing sexy costumes to conventions, and gets a lot of attention, picture requests, etc. I just smile and think, "Hey guys, look all you want, but I get to take her home!"

And Dust, I think the costume idea is great! Can't wait to see it!
