May 6, 2012 - Need help: My foam IM helmet not getting it right #1

Firstly I'll like to thank all those wonder full guys who made
The pep designs and cOnverted them to
    Foam! Awesome stuff!

But my helmet seems large and
    Bobble head

    Instagram

I upped it 10% to fit my head but the jaw seems to protrude out alot as well.
I tried doing the original Scale but it's just too small for me.

    I am using 9mm foam.
    What am I doing wrong??

The helmet shouldn't fit on your head when it is fully assembled. You'll need to remove the back neck portion to fit it on, and then reattach with magnets or some other type of fastener. So you have it scaled large enough to fit your head, when in reality it shouldn't.

I don't have any pics handy, but you want that last lower neck step to be separate. Take a look at some of the helmet kits available (Finhead, MightyJohn, etc) and you'll see what I mean

They'd piece together in the same way. Most people remove the back plate, the reattach it with straps/clasps or rare earth magnets
