Ok, so this is a $50 Dark Knight Build.... not counting the cowl which i bought off someone here. For that, i got it cheap as well, a $100 or less as it was flawed. I have since repaired it so... I had some unused foam from my War Machine suit so I used it for this build.
$10 Tight long sleeve black shirt, and tights
$19 Superhero boots
$15 Gloves
Here it is. SO basically i had some help from a couple of posters here that posted up TDK templates. This i used only for the chest. The rest was pretty much free hand all the way. I had a base for the chest, which i would attach velcro at the back and glue the chest emblem to the front.

what i did next was the torso, with the basic structure of 5 rows and glue the rest of the torso armour to it.
i then glued it to a textured yoga mat, which sorta gives the same netting basis of the suit.
i then free handed the shoulders, biceps as well as gauntlets. i had previous bad experience working on shoulders so i tried it out on paper and finally settled on a design then cut it out on the foam. For the gauntlets, i love the ninja gauntlets from BB and used that in my suit. For the biceps, i used stretchable cloth to link both sides so that it will hug my own arms.

The leg armour was then cut out and eventually glued to my pants using fabric glue. I free handed these as well.
Added the neck armour which I was having trouble with later on! i used the templates for these as well.
And tada...!
The Bat!
