ok guys sorry for the lack of updates but ive been bizy with many things but heres some piks of my helmet , half way through body filling it hehe and had a test paint on the face plate to

update timeeeeeeeeee :) heres a few piks of my primerd helmet and chest piece and some with a coat of silver on aswell :) now im going to be painting the gold and red tonight aswell so will have pics up of them also later

Looking pretty good so far. It is nice to see people building my suit in pepakura and finishing the parts. I know it is a lot of work... remember the 3 P's - Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance. Take your time with each part and work on only one area on that part at a time and you can get really good results and also it helps with the feeling of being overwhelmed by such a large project.

your telling me lol but look how good your files look when there coming to an end , and these are just the v1's hehe thanks again darkside with out these files we would never even be getting this far and glad you like it buddy just hope im doing your files justice :D

its a cashmire gold paint i put a silver undercoat on first and then painted the gold on , came out pretty good dint it :)

soooooooooooooo now i have finished my helmet and chest ,,,, finally lol im moving back on to the shins here are pics off them with the first coat of resin

Looking sweet man. I like the colour choice on the gold.

I'm also from the UK and wanted to start my first pep, so my question is what products are you using. Like what resin and what filler? Be belpful since we're both uk based. I had a look on halfords so far but that's about it.

thanks man yeh the golds pretty much spot on lol , but the red im not to sure on , i wanted a darker cherry red to be honest ,, soooo you wana do a pep build kool there much better in my eyes lol the products im using are tetrosyl polyester resin , and the body filler is the same make , im using fiberglass matt wich is a 5ver and i got it all from a1 motor store wich is a local car repair store near were i am but im acctually suprised halfords dont have what you need :unsure ermm i think halfords have a glass fiber kit wich has everything in it but im not sure and im using a thick card from a local stationary store , pva glue aswell and the best advise i can give you buddy is stock up on brushes hahaha youll be going through loads trust me lol if theres anything else i can help with dont hesetate to give me a message pal either on here or fb my links are on my profile here

Thanks for help and advice. My local Halfords had none in stock :confused I believe theirs came in a yellow tin? But I'll look into the products you stated, I'm London so it should 't be too hard to get a hold of, right? Haha

yehh just a bit lol and no worries man yeh the yellow tin one works pretty gud and im not sure if there is an a1 motor store in london buddy and thanks man hoping to get it all done for halloween lol
