@OldKen- I actually put some makeup on him to make him look older, but I didn't have enough time to do the full treatment. Plus, he has such young/nice skin! I'm jealous!

What did you use for the white text elements?
Did you find accurate reference for what each one said or did you just make stuff up?
I love the elegant little design details in metal gear costumes and equipment .
You could also make "alternate face camos" to change up the costume's look or if you just don't feel like wearing a mustache all day at a con.
Now all you need is a Metal Gear MKII !

I'm a huge MGS nut and I actually thought the first few pictures you posted were screen caps, very nice work :thumbsup

@nick daring- I used custom stamps for the white text. I used the character viewer as reference, and there were 2 different texts. One was completely legible, and one was partially legible. So, one stamp is accurate, the other one I made up. I later got the Raiden Medicom figurine which had the complete and legible text, but it was too late by then!
I plan on making the hood for my husband, and maybe I'll don the costume with a wig and be Laughing Octopus face camo version! I'll have to bulk up! My husband plans on making the MK II, we have a pep file, I just need to get him motivated!

We actually went to Tokyo Game Show with this costume. Old Snake didn't win (My costume did LOL) but here's a photo of the contestants with the judges and Hideo Kojima!
