My son and I made this masterchief costume several years back. It came out very well. It was made 100% using pep files (bondo, resin, etc). Being that I am fairly new to this site, I have decided to post a few of the "chiefs" pictures here. These pictures are from either Katsucon and Otakon.

Thanks all for your great comments. The armor took me two years to build. It was my fist Pep work. I used the HD (high definition) files in Pepakura File Index - Halo Costuming Wiki
The paint job used 4 different types of greens. Ended with a few odd size parts due to scaling errors. Lots of fun. here are a few more pics.

The visor is made out of two visors ( one over the other). The outer visor is cut to deliniate the outline one sees in the Chiefs helmet.

The paint job was don with 3 green shades, primer black for spray cans, then flat model paint gray for weathering effects.
I too love the chief. Contemplating doing a Halo 4 chief. Son said that we should do all 4 chiefs.
Its very enjoyable working a project with the son. Its even better than the project itself !!

Hello! I am the supposed son my dad here was talking about. It's great that our costume is liked!
We are planning a photoshoot at Otakon this year with our Chief. We also added a few new things to the costume, so these pictures are a bit dated.
The Masterchief costume has withstanded many Cons with virtually minor repairs.Suican said:

The inner armor is either a plain black flightsuit or Underarmor. Its a mix of both. Glad you like the picture. Setting up a facebook with over 100 pics from the photoshoot.Daemon324 said:
