Another project, started in 2013 inspired: first Crysis, after Saint seiya and now Mass Effect

well, here in my town we have a big convention at the last weekend of May. I was planning to use my crysis Nanosuit at this convention, however I realized that with my slowness it wouldn't be ready until the day. So I decided to make another armor using the traditional method of papercraft and slow down (even more) the Nanosuit.

The suit is the Armax Arsenal from Mass effect 3

now the assembled papercrafts(I know that it's weird print pieces with texture, but usually models made to be used in games don't have all the details made of polygons, most of the details are done only in texture, so I printed the texture to help me make them in Bondo)

Those are really nice sets of armor.

Is there a way you can retain the printed texture or does it just serve as a reference?

Re: [Mass Effect 3] Armax Arsenal Armor(pic heavy)

Looking good so far! what do you have in mind for the textured surfaces? I'd reccomend carbon fibre vinyl.

Hey Blackout, is papercraft a program?(noob question)
and where do you get the files for the armor?(another noob question)
I'm interested because pepakura seems complicated and it probably expired on my computer. I'm contemplating on making the original N7 armor.

Your hastened reply would be certainly appreciated :)

Re: [Mass Effect 3] Armax Arsenal Armor(pic heavy)

Well, it's Balmung XD

papercraft is just the technique, I used Pepakura(program) to make the papercraft(english)

the armor I extracted directly from the game

Re: [Mass Effect 3] Armax Arsenal Armor(update 31/01)

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this ends up. It's nice to see a different Shepard build.

Re: [Mass Effect 3] MaleShepard Armax Arsenal Armor(update 18 feb)

Today I have hardened some easy pieces of the armor with fiberglass and already ordered a polyurethane resin to harden the forearms, chest and back
