I was inspired by a costume thread here, and decided to take on the project of making a full size scale Ewok for display.
I started with anything I could find, like a hulk mask, scraps of leather, and molding clay.

Seeing as I don't care for Ewoks. I had friends on that Moon, man. I highly approve of this picture less thread.
J/k, looking forward to seeing...something.
I had to dremmel out some of the facial features to flatten the face and put in strips of scrap leather to fill it out.

The caps of some dollar tree baby bottles for the eyes, and foam padding to widen the face a little.

Used some oven bake clay to mold out the nose and mouth...

Painted the eyes, nose, and mouth, and added JUSt a little more padding to the sides to round it out....

I've seen better!
Matter of fact, just last night I was at a friends house and he is in the process of the same build. Now that thing is awesome!
This one is... meh!
Check the post after his
Now, how are you going to make it blink. Because it's not an Ewok if it can't blink....occassionally...randomly from scene to scene...or not...in fact I have it on good authority from someone high up in Lucasfilm that you are not allowed to love it if it doesn't blink.
Your sculpt though, looking good!
The fur looks really patchy, but once you go through it with a comb and mess it all up again all the seams disapear....

Fur is really starting to take shape. Cardboard worked fine for a rigid form in the back.....
