Anyone know if there are some free patterns floating about for making a jedi tunic and robe?

    Thanks in advance

I used a Simplicity pattern #8311 and modified it slightly. This is a pretty dern good tutorial regarding it: http://thejediassembly.com/tutorials.php?id=s4u
it wasn't free, but it was like $4
that was for the outter tunic.
The inner tunic, I used the outter as my basis and made it by hand.
The robe I used the padawan's guide information page to study Obi-wan's TPM robe and then did my best to create it by hand. I'm not that skilled of a tailor, so if I can do that, so can anyone else really.

Does anyone have that simplicity pattern posted for use on the net? I know they made a specific jedi pattern a few years ago, but has thus been discontinued...

I was just in the fabric store earlier this week and they still had the pattern. I think they changed the packaging to put it with the robe.

    I purchased my #8311 from E(vil)-bay. A quick search turned up: http://cgi.ebay.com/1998-Simplicity-...3286.m20.l1116

but that's of course if you're trying to use the link I posted above from the Jedi Assembly. To my knowledge there isn't any pattern out there you can use without any sort of modification to make your Jedi.

weird that the closest is pattern #8311 which is 1138 reversed. I'm sure I'm not the first to notice that, just thought it a bit coincidental.
