Just wanna show everyone what our helm looks like when finally painted.

you did resin then bondo/body filler?? not resin then fiberglass the inside??

i was inspired by your work and I just started my own project. where can i find cardstock here in the philippines? i can't seem to find it on national bookstores. employees don't know what card stock is.
i used vellum board, is it the same as card stocks? will it handle resining? any help would be much appreciated. keep up the good work!

Yes... you are correct... I used polytuff brand bodyfiller...

I used vellum too... you may ask national bookstore for bond paper with 200~220gsm (same as card stock )... any paper (as long as not-glossy) is good for resining IMO...

Trully stunning! You did an amazing work with this helmet, it gave me inspiration to resin and bondo mine too. Can I ask you, what you used to make the mold, and how you made it? I want to do the same thing, but can't find a good tut. for it.

Thank you very much... I used RTV silicone for the rubber mold and fiberglass for the mother mold or jacket... I was not able to properly document the molding process but you can find a lot of very good tutorial on smooth-on and youtube...

m based in Mandaluyong.

This thread is very informative plus thanks for the links you provided here. anyway I hope my build would be as good as yours, though I'll be taking the foam route. can I ask what foam did you use for the "teeth"? is this the rubber foam that's used for the flooring or for camping? yung nilalako sa daan na ginagawang floor mat sa kotse?(the one used for floor matting for cars that are sold in the streets? tama ba english ko? hehehe) thanks bro! lupet!
