I would say 4 or 6 due the the amount of resources available.
And what do you mean by "best"? It's really up to you. Pick the one you like the best!
Just take your time and don't get discouraged by your mistakes.
Good luck!
I really don't think there is a best one, it's more personal preference on what you like.
if you dont build something you like personally, you will regret it somewhere in the middle of the build
oh im sorry about that confusion! im french so my english is really bad
what i mean by best, is easiest..
so the question should be.. wich one would be the easiest for a first build
i looove all the suits up there.. so.. with all ur experience, i bet there's some pep easier than other with foam
thanks for watching and for taking the time to give me ur opinion!
I am new to costume modeling, and I just started my first build about 3 and a half weeks ago. I started with the iron man mk 4/6. I am not building it in foam, though. I chose to do pepakura, (paper-craft). I have really enjoyed myself with it, but I did a lot of research, first. I would recommend watching a few videos on YouTube, studying pics on the net and following a few builds onl-line. I can tell you that it isn't easy your first time, but it is fun and rewarding. Here is what I have, so far:
I am really happy with it. The first time I put it on I wanted to scream!
I hope you have fun with whatever you choose! May the force be with you!
if you want to build something quick . go with foam . JFcustome have good files for mrk 7
I built a mark 6 for my first build. http://www.therpf.com/f24/ironman-ma...t-time-148077/
Cadeus: That looks great man! Good job!
Madrick u're one of the most inspiring to me till now!! i'd probably do with the mk6 as u did, watch at the templates and they seem to be easier to start with.
Stealth, GFJordan and much more are so talented to this!
i did a pep helmet till now and it turned pretty good i think.
but definitly i'd go with foam for this one.
i have as project to do a red white and blue one, and put an habs sign instead or the triangle so i will wear it to go at the Canadiens NHL game
i'll be starting this today.. got some 10mm foam, and ordering some 3 from wandy on ebay
thanks all for answering!
here's the NHL team in question
my 1st pep helm
and what i've got so far as MK6 lol
