iron mrk 7 foam

hi I'm new here and i want to make a foam iron man suit, but i don't know what thickness of foam to use, can anybody help me?

There is a lot of great info through out the site, definitely take a look into some of the other Iron Man foam builds that are being built right now. I'm currently in the process of making a suit myself and I started with a foam mat that is about 8mm thick. I finished the helmet, but in my opinion it's still a bit thick. DocHoliday78 is working on a suit that uses foamies, and they are 3mm. Foam is cheap to buy, so try some out in various thicknesses and see what works for you.
