Iron Man MkIII build attempt

This is my first attempt at an Iron Man build brought on by the quality and enjoyment shown on this forum by other builders.

I've decided on the MkIII Iron Man suit focusing for the time being on Chest/Back/Shoulders for now. I like the shoulders and circular reactor of this model.

Firstly I believe I will need a pep file to print out and fold, as a beginner will I be better off seeking an already printed template from an experienced builder and going on from there ? Who is best to approach ?

Secondly pros and cons of building up a resin and fiberglass structure or foam cut out ?

Possibly in the future I'd like to cast this in aluminum, what does this process entail ?

If there are any questions I havnt asked which I should please let me know

Good luck with your build, Iron Man is definitely an ambitious project. A lot of your questions have been asked and answered in the sticky and in various threads around the forum. A quick search will bring up a ton of info.
What do you want from your finished costume? Foam is quicker and cheaper than pep, but less detail and they generally don't last too long, the foam will tend to wear out and tear. Check out Stealth's tutorials, that guy knows what he's doing and has has tons of great info and advice. Again, good luck with your project, be sure to post lots of pics as you go!

Ideally I'd like to wear it to the few cons we have in Sydney so I think I'll go fiberglass for strength and durability.

And for your question on "casting in aluminum". What exactly do you mean? Cold casting resin with aluminum powder? Or aluminum metal itself?

Ok I've seen Surreal Studio's MkIII full suit build and am awe struck.

I've been guided to robo3687's pep file and need to wait til I get home and get on my PC

Finally Stealth and his YouTube tutorial was very informative
