Iron Man Mark III- Suit Assembly- what goes where?
Hello!
I just got a Mark III suit and not sure (although it sounds and looks simple) where all the parts go. Is there an on line tutorial of a suit laid out? The lower legs have front and backs There is a shoe flip piece (front or back)? Here is what I have: Please advise. Thanks Tom Last edited by houdiniguy; 12-03-2009 at 01:50 PM. |

Re: Iron Man Mark III- Suit Assembly- what goes where?
hey tom - looks like you got it about right.
there should be a "shoe flip piece" that goes in the front of the foot not the back. those thigh pieces should be turned on the side. Meaning the thigh pieces should be higher on the sides of your hips and then form a "V" as they reach your crotch. (they look right in your pics but i can't tell really) the forearm pieces you can figure out based on the gloves. The circular disk is supposed to go on the inner palm of the hand representing the repulsor rays, so turn the forearm armor accordingly. (however, it's hard to really tell, because the iron man stealth suit had circular disks on teh outside of the hand too) there's no guide really to your armor because it's a pretty unique piece. Not the usual Mark 1,2 or 3 armor that was used in the movie. It is painted blue because it's supposed to be a iron man stealth suit. It's a type of armor he used in the comic books

Looks like one of the Nightmare Armor costumes, so yes, a wearable item.

YES, it IS a nighmare Armour piece. Do you or someone here know HOW I can conatct them as I have one broken piece. I plan to display this on a mannequin only. and repaint in the movie colors even tho I am told this is the comic version, thus the blue. The detail is amazing!!! Thanks for any help, their website has NO contact info. Tom |

Looks cool, But with all the hype I would think nightmare armor would have a better finish on their cast parts.
