Hey folks, I know it has been awhile but here is a nice big update for you all. So I was not happy with the way my old pep based ab/cod fit on me and with the rest of the armor so.......... I rebuilt it but this time i wanted it to fit me perfect so i took a duct tape dummy of myself and wraped the mid section in fiberglass cloth , then resined it. I then smoothed it out with body filler, next I drew on the details of the ab plates , front ,sides and back , then sculpted them out of body filler, I then re peped the cod and spine, I attached only the front and sides of the cod and blended in the rear and then attached the spine. The end result was a mid section with a glove like fit and worked much better with the rest of the armor then my old mid section

You sire is probably THE person who got me into building IM suits.. It looks just magnificent.. Real piece of art..
I used a lot of your progress pics as reference for my own mkIII build but it looks like nothing compared to yours..

I can't wait to see it fully painted, it's like looking at the real Iron man ! Hats off to you master

And yet again another AWESOME work man...

The new abs/cod looks absolutely fantastic and the proportion looks really great!

Been waiting for this updates and I can say its well worth waiting.

I don't know what else to say Matt but simply brilliant!
The shot of the leg showing the sole of the shoe shows the details and the whole composition of this build and it's just stunning mate. I love the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the lines. There's a lot of love or patience in this and it shows.
Looking forward to seeing those last pieces come together . It's worth taking that extra time on these things , they can't be rushed.

Thanks Steve, we are almost done now, just need to build the left thigh and new helmet and then it's molding time!
