However, Robo's are Mark 4 and 6 though, not mark 3.
People tend to mess them up (including myself)

Here are all the Marks listed:
Mark 1, metal prototype Tony creates in the desert.
Mark 2, the first "real looking" Ironman, unpainted (he only testflies it)
Mark 3, The Gold/Red suit from the Ironman 1 movie which gets destroyed in the last fight with Iron Mongel.
Mark 4, The 1st Gold/Red suit in Ironman 2 which looks a lot like Mark 3 but small differences in the Abs-plate and I believe legs,
Mark 5, is know as the travel suit, Red/Silver and unfolds from a briefcase
Mark 6, is the one with the Triangled Arc reactor in the chestplate.

So Kagn be carefull with using Robo's Abs and legs files since they are not Mark 3 (maybe some other files aswell).

And for everyone else I hope this clears things up. especially mark 3 and 4 took me a while to see the differences. I suggest to take a good look at them if you make either a Mark 3 or Mark 4 suit so it wont get a blend between those 2

Very good point Leander and yes i am aware of the differences, but the pieces from robo i am thinking of using abs, cod, spine, hands and feet are not too different from the mark 3, and any differences can be fixed in the filler/detail stage, but I have also spoke with Dancin_fool and he will be finishing the rest of his suit files after his wedding in October i believe, so chances are i will not be on the lower half of the suit by then, so i will be using those files if they are out

Thanks Bimmer I had not come across those files, i like how the spine is included aswell, this will save me alot of custom detail work in the filler stage

no problem. It doesn't match up SUPER well with dancin_fools chest/back and cod piece, but with some modifications i'm sure you'll get it to work perfect. Its the same file Finhead used if you saw his build

Thats good to know, was wondering what ab file he used, seeing that the link in his thread to the files is down. Ya that was a amazing build I can only hope my will turn out as good.

well you're doing amazing work too bud. Just don't stop half way through and leave us wondering if you ever finished it

Dont worry this is a start to finish build, but each piece will take a lil longer to complete because i am molding each one

Well no pics yet anyways, what I can tell you, so far I have molded the chest piece, still have to make the mother mold yet, and i am in the process of detailing the back armor. Should have some pics up this week hopefully

i'd be okay with more pics of what you already have done i just love looking at clean crisp pieces of iron man armor

I love the build so far, looking forward to more progress pics.

You guys are really motivating me, lol. Pics will be on the way, working on getting the back detailed, also i am making the flaps that go on the back seperate so that they can be funtional

Hey guys i forgot to post pics of what i used for the small pieces that go into the rib slots, in every photo i have seen the parts are never quite the same, so i found something that had a simular look to what i had seen. the chest is in the mold right now.
