Hey everyone, thought i would post my ironman mark 3 build on here, the helmet is a dungbeetle model and the rest of the upper body is from dancin_fools files, i am molding the pieces as i go, next up are the chest and back pieces.

I have a few friends that want a helmet and neck as a display item, so i added some detail inside of the neck to give it the apperance of having working sensors in it for when the helmet is removed off the neck. The wearable neck pieces will have to have this trimed out and go on in two parts. As for timeline i started this project in june, mainly on weekends and most mornings

Next up are the chest and back pieces, they have been hardened inside and out and now need the detail put into them with filler, also have to finish building the flaps that go on the back piece, which i hope to make functional on the cast copies

Ok folks the chest and back pieces are going to be on hold for a lil bit, i have alot of people curious about the neck pieces, now these neck pieces i currently made were meant to be a stand for the helmet as a display item. So if the inside of the top of the neck was trimed out and the seal was made to go on in two halfs you could fit a smaller neck into it, these ones were never intended to be worn. With that said i have decided to start on the wearable neck seal, which will look the same accept the back of the neck will have a bigger piece on it, hope to get some pics up soon, cheers guys!!

Yea.. We discoverd this our self when building, i was supriced how big the neckseal really needs to be in order to make it function. I think you did a great job

Wow that really means alot comin from the pros such as your self, thanks once again, learning alot as i go, also trying my hand at sculpting some pieces in clay, see how it goes.

Hey folks, should have some pics of the new wearable neck plating up in a day or two, just finished the mold and need to do a cast, also finished the chest piece, and need to make a mold of it next, cheers!

I want to know ...how do you do the molding ? Like step to step tutorial with photos. Can you do that? I got some ideas but i want to learn form the experts. If it is posible.
