Honestly, it makes me think they didn't bother to finish the paint job. Don't like it so much.

I think that organic quality is going to tie into the storyline. Extremis style ya know.
MAYBE if it looked gold and not a cream color...maybe...
But honestly, I'm not feeling it at all.
Lets hope it's not the main suit used in the film.
I love it! It's finally something different. I know there are a lot of differences to the previous armors, especially if you're looking into the details to build your own, but to the general audience they look more or less the same. (with the exception of the mark 1, 2 and 5 of course.) But I think you get what I mean. I think it's a good choice. I really hope we see the blue stealth armor in the movies soon!
lets see how it looks onscreen, then I'll have a real opinion![]()
I'm glad it's a drastic departure too.
Like it or not it gives us geeks something to talk about.

The frown is also a bit cartoonish with the new helmet.
Nick
if anyone has any more images keep posting themgoing to start a 3d model of it this week.
Who wants to guess when the first fan suit is finished?
A month or two perhaps?
rofl with some luck if I get some decent pictures of the helmet I could finish it in a day or 2 so I'd say... dunno a week XD? it's the summer holiday after all
This suit is actually starting to grow on me already.
one second i think i hate it, then i think i like it, i just cant make my mind up fully yet

the design is really cool, looking at it, i think the gold is just a matt finish.
still at odds as to whether i really like the colour scheme or not, maybe it it was blue/black like the stealth armour then it'd be better.
I love the design, and color wise I'm not too upset because I've seen enough hot rod red and mega glitter gold...This is a win as far as design is concerned IMO!!
I actually like the bulky appearance of the neck and feet...The hand plate covers and the toned down shoulders as well.
Ok, it think what's really bothering me is the Overdesign. There's panels on top of panels here. It's not a 'Suit of Armour', it's an attempt to add 'visual interest' where none was needed. Never mind that I have a hard time seeing a physical person move in that suit, since there's little in the way of flexibility for a realistic, wearable suit that will truly resemble this. It's way too sleek and form fitted. the silhouette has a simple man appearance and not the bulk armour we've come to expect.
It's like the Micheal Bay Transformers Designers were asked to try their hand at this.
Yeah, the Suitcase suit is heavily panelled, but you could see where the joints would flex (moreso because of the overlapped detail) i'm hoping this has a similar reason for existance, cause I wasn't happy with the Suitcase either.

Wow, I'm not sure what to think. I like what Talisen doesn't... it looks more like a "mech" to me, but I absolutely hate the color scheme. I love the way the helmet looks though. So... I guess I'm, overall... "Um... okay?" about it.
I'm ok with it if it was only in one scene like the mark v. I just hope it's not in the whole movie. However, I have a feeling the toy manufacturer's had some influence in this. They needed something totally new looking to sell to the kids. Or at least something the parents would see and not say, "You already have one just like that."
