im going to a convention in two weeks and dont have my own car how do you guys get your suits to a con and get it on where do you put your other stuff and how do you get it home at the end.
any tips on how to transport it are very welcome i have to move my iron man and my war machine for my girlfreind ?
although this is a good tip i live in a rather dangerous area and people would just love to kick the crap out of a guy in an iron man suite there logic would be that they where stronger than iron man. also i have to move 2 suits and its hard to carry one whyle wearing the otherEyeofSauron said:

what you need is a hockey, or football gear bag. they are big, and you can fit a lot of stuff in there. also, they generally have wheels, so you can pull them behind you. you can easily fit all the smaller parts in there, and for the chest, i would just use a clothes hanger and carry it by hand, or just hang it on the handle of the bag. also, wrap every part in a piece of cloth, so they dont hit each other and wear off the paint.
this way, you need 2 bags for 2 sets of armor, hang the chest pieces on the handle, and pull the two bags behind you.
itll be getting transported in a bus the cons not that far from my house by bus or taxie unfortunately i dont drive and insurance is to high for my girlfriend to afford lolJacobRyan said:

Action Packers are popular for lots of cosplayers. They are VERY durable and can take the abuse of angry luggage handlers out on the runway. I have used other tupperware type bins on flights before only to have them shatter after only one flight.
No matter what you use, I would suggest using zip ties instead of locks to secure your bin. Also throw a bag with additional zip ties IN the luggage in case the TSA opens your case. That way they can cut the zip ties and re-zip tie it for you when they are done.
You can also request TSA to search your bag when you drop off your bag a the ticket counter. Then they will just put a "already TSA checked" sticker on it. This way you can make sure everything is put back nicely before going on the plane.
Be sure to write your NAME and ADDRESS on the inside of the bin and lid
I haven't needed to transport it anywhere yet, but I always wanted to get a big cloth sack to put it in and write on the outside of the bag with Sharpie in huge letters, "SACK O' SUIT"
