Batman: Year 100 has got to be my favorite depiction of Batman's costume. I don't know why; it's just so raw and ..disposable? I'd like to give it a go, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of or seen it attempted. I've looked with no luck. Here's an image of the costume.
I've wanted to make this costume for years. Do you own the statue? I think that would help.
If you make this costume you also need the body to match. This looks like a skintight suit. So you gotta muscle up!
I just measured the statue. Surprisingly, it seems to be proportionate to Pope's six foot five figure. I measured almost 20 cm from head to heel and 77 inches is 195.58 cm. Moving the decimal point, I was able to figure out an approximation to the rest of Pope's Batman.
Neck ~ 18-19, probably 17.5 beneath cowl, the same as bicep and calf
Chest - 44 or 46
Bicep - 17.5
Forearm -14.5-15.5
Waist - 32
Quad - 25.5
Calf - 17.5
And that's with tights on, so you could probably take a quarter or half an inch off. It seems like an achievable and realistic athletic body.

I'm half way through reading this series. It has a real homemade look to it. Like he got some sweats and other off the shelf stuff because he's short on bucks.
Sort of like the Batman in Red Son.
I actually just got started doing so. Sewing leather is a pain.
