like i said, there are many different types of guyvers. ive never seen a gigantic guyver done.

gigantic would be a fun 1 to do! but dont side track me lol cuz I get side tracked really easy lol but i really want to get a full suit done![]()
well, te ggantic is the evolved form of guyver 1 and 3. so you need to finish yours first before you can do that
That's on my list of to do's.
Horn/Antenna included, they're like, 9 feet or so, +/- 1-2 inches. Just right to put my feet at the knees. My arms would only reach to the elbows. Don't get me wrong, it's fine, it's just weird. I'd probably make a go at it like the one guy did with the full scale Elite from Halo. I think the horn looks better exaggerated as well. Makes it seem, i don't know, bigger, maybe?
That being said, I know foam give instant gratification, and its fine, 'cause for the lower half of the gigantic, I'd probably do most if not all foam anyway. The Control Medal doesn't look too big, if it is, I don't think it's noticeable. I've also been looking for a pep of the gigantic, just to get an idea, preferably full scale, but that's a pipe dream.
On the other hand, I would love to find a file that would translate into a CAD program, like CATIA or something.
for an actual guyver it adds apox 7 inches to the host. 4 for the feet and 3 for the helmet, without the antenna. from the anime, sho being 5'9 and the guyver being 6'4
agito machashima is supposed to be 6'2. for some reason eveyone put the character height on everything instead of the guyver height. i had to get out my dvds to check the chronos data files on the characters
Well, whatever the Guyver's Height, the Gigantic upgrade adds about 3' to the height. But, also, most of that height that the Unit adds is the horn/antenna/whatever. Both the horn on the Gigantic and the Unit are somewhere between 12" - 18" by my not-so-accurate reckoning. That's based on looking at the datafiles and doing a size comparison.
Makishima is about an inch or so taller than Sho is, not much in other words.
I should note however, that the horn typically uses the hard carapace as a skeletal form, and that the horn looks to be mostly filled with the stringy portion of the carapace. Makishima looks like the odd exception, though I'd bet a dozen paychecks that it still is filled on the inside with the softer part of the carapace.
TAAAA DAAAA!!! what do you guys think??? I appreciate all comments it only makes my projects that much better! next week I will be starting on the body![]()
Very nice. It looks like it could be a little smoother. But, hey, I still like, don't get me wrong, it's still a very nice build. You working on all of the other parts next?
You should check out this website if you haven't.
