Game of Thrones, Bronn

It looks like some sort of waffle weave. If you could find a thermal shirt that looks close, then rough it up a bit, you'd be on the right track.

Bronn's one of my favorite characters in the show (and the books.) I look forward to seeing your costume when you're done.

The pattern is very similar (though it is very scaled down compared to Bronns), the color is a close match and if you buy it a couple of sizes to big I think you have a dead ringer. I have it myself and it comes more frayed (adding a medieval and worn look) than what it looks like in the photo. Let me know if you want me to upload some close-up shots.

It's a gambeson, made from waffle weave. He wears it underneath his grey tunic. You can buy it at fabric stores in many different colours.

Just make the sleeves and attach them to the grey tunic. At least, that's what I'm doing to prevent getting too many layers. Wearing leather is going to be warm enough
