Future Batman from DC Universe Online Game
Hey guys,

Something I am working on. It will eventually be the faceplate/cowl that Batman wears in the Future Post-Apoc world as appears in the new trailer for DC Universe Online.

Still very rough and is still in paper form. But it will be strengthened with smooth cast 300 and then molded and cast in a hard urethane with a slight bend.

Please note these photos don't do it justice as I have taken them myself with iphone and there is weird perspective warpage going on.

thats up to dark, if he wants to it'll be released through me, but i think at this stage the plan is just to provide casts

Thanks for the encouragement guys!

I will be adding in the chin and forehead details once it is fully hardened. It will then get smoothed and the end result I am aiming for is a mold in which to cast it in a durable latex.

The plan is to offer these on the junkyard once complete.

Anyone else think it looks eerily familiar to Prometheus? He wore a helmet similar to that which if I recall right allowed him to copy the heroes techniques by downloading them directly into his brain.

I was planning (along with some friends) to do a whole group of the 'armoured' heroes from the trailer....that helmet is looking VERY nice.
