I have a question about the Vader helmet. Comparing the pic on the first page with the pep file, the mouth grill is missing in the pep. Was there a change in the file or is the display pic of a premium version of the bucket?

cool theirs not enough hours in the day![]()
wow.....simply amazing stuff you're doing here. all your hard work is much appreciated man. any news on the biker scout peps? i've wanted a set since i saw return of the jedi. i was hoping they wouldve made real speeders by now![]()
True that. Sometimes I wish I had a Flux Capacitor or had the Jedi ability to flow walk or something.
Thanks. I had to put that project along with many others on the back burner as I have a lot of commissioned projects to complete first. I agree about the speeders. One of these days I will build a speeder bike and mount it on wheels.
I've got some cool stuff in the works, so stay tuned.
Okay, so I've put the Star killer helmet together. It really is way too big. Awesome file though! Any suggestions for sizing to make it a little more 1:1?
Also, being new to pep, how can I ballpark how big a helmet/armor is going to be before I put it together for 20 hours?
Thanks very much and keep up the great work!
My 10-year old wants star killer armor pep btw.![]()
Thanks, I appreciate your support and I will continue to push the envelope every time, delivering nothing less than my best.
It's always good to hear others are getting some use out of these files.
To efficiently check the scale of your pep file prior to printing, simply right click in the 2D view to bring up the context menu and select the "measure distance between two points" option at the bottom. Then, you can click in the 3D view to measure the distance between any two vertices and you will get a window giving an accurate measurement in millimeters.
Hope this helps.![]()
First of all i have to say that you have some epic pep files, being new to all this though i do have to ask, i'm currently undertaking the boba fett bucket as a first project and am struggling with the L/H ear piece, how does that attach at the rear, it may be a noobish question but i've probably been staring at lines and numbers for too long, anyways keep up the excellent work good sir
I think when I first released that model, I left the ears attached on one side to allow for the option of building them separately or attached. Now, I would have just left the ears as a separate element.
I would advise you to check out rosskow's build of this file. He really did some amazing work with his helmet. You can find his WIP thread here.
No problem, feel free to ask should you require some additional support.
Here's another addition available in my premium files:
Mandalorian BL Droid

Wow.. Thanks for the files man!
Yeah really, AMAZING work here!! Like everyone else, Thanks for all those files! I wanna start on a Clone Trooper suit reall soon and surprise my son! He's a huge Star Wars fan but especially loves Clone Troopers for some odd reason lol
Hey I was wondering if you will ever finish the Royal Guard armor or if what you have now is all the armor that they wear?
You're welcome.
Thanks, do share some pictures when you start your build. Clonetroopers are awesome.
As far as I know, that is all of the armor worn by the shadow guard. There are variations in the character design in some of the comics though, like Crimson Empire for instance.
Hello, I'm new to the rpf forums, and I wanted to make some stormtrooper armor for a fan film. But I see a link to download the helmet, not the rest of the armor. Is the armor not available for download, or do I have to be sent a download link? Thanks
I'm part-way through building a pep trooper costume, and I can tell you it is a huge amount of work. It'll be much cheaper and less stressful to purchase a costume. Pep is wonderful, but it's a lot of work. Most peppers have a lot of half-finished projects. Just my two cents worth. Best of luck with your fan film.
For the past 2 or 3 months me and my brothers wanted to make a fan film. We looked online to see if they sold any cheap ones, but sadly the cheapest helmet we could find was more than £100. But me and my friend are going to have a go at making some pepakura Halo marine armor. I said if we can do it in under 2 months, we could consider a pep file from star wars. We are hoping of doing the marine armor after Christmas. But the main point I may ask is, can I be able to obtain the full Stormtrooper pepakura armor for the future. Again many thanks!
Hey Fierfek, I was just wondering if you were thinking of doing a super battle droid...? How cool would one of those be to have in your house!
Before I go, just thought I would say that your files are works of art!!! It's good to see Star Wars files being done!!! Thanks a lot!
