Speaking of Malgus.. I still haven't seen a pep of his mask/breathing apparatus. When do we get it?

Some of that stuff, like with the chest greeblies of the Darth Malgus armor, I would suggest making into a sliced file (as in slices) for use with 1mm or 2mm sintra or styrene.

Less need of the minute paper folding and easier for some costumers for the details.
That's true, I think I'll just do that for some of those parts. For the more complex pieces like the tiny greeblies on the Vizla helmet I'll make for 3D printing.

I had to put the premium Malgus model on the back burner until I finish up some commissioned projects.

You're welcome. I still have to fix some parts on it and will release it in separate files like R2. I'll get to it later when I have a chance.

Thanks, I based the mask off renders of the original KOTOR mask design. I was thinking of making the new TOR Revan design as well.

    Hi Fierfek,

I want to thank you for making lots of SW pep files.

One file got into my attention, but it took me long time to finally build one.

I am surprised that no body seem to make or post (or maybe I miss it).
    It is Leia Slave costume.

    Here's my WIP.
    1. I modified your file to have less parts and for foam build.
    2. I have to cut short the lower strap for Asian size.
    3. I added steel wire for support, however I'm still trying to figure out how to attach them.
4.I use 6mm, should've use 2mm for the breast cover, or cloth.
    5. Haven't got idea for the string and string attachment.
    6. I am trying to make the bottom part, made a mock up using cardboard.
My friend asked me to put letters at the back, so I did LED.
For some unknown reason, the top parts will not lit when the bottom part lit. If I switch the polarity, the result is vice versa, so I leave it as it is. It's a mock up anyway.

    Thank you for looking.

You're welcome. I'm glad others are using these and this is the first time I've seen someone build one of those. It seems to be well suited to foam, good going so far and thanks for sharing your progress.

Also, I have the rest of the Leia parts if anyone is interested.

Well here's my progress so far with the Sith Acolyte pep...
Here is a new pic of the mask using EVA foam floor mats. I'm thinking I probably should use thinner foam, but it's not too bad for a first try. I still need to add the crest detail and finish filling in around the eyes. Need to rework the nose a bit as well.

It's coming along well. It would be interesting to see one of these finished in foam. Thanks for sharing your progress, I look forward to seeing the final product.

The Pep file was awesome Fiefek! The cutting was brutal lol...but assembly was super easy. I glassed the interior and lightly coated the outside with resin. (I know it look messy)...but sanding to come and then going to bondo it and make the eyes more squinty, reshape the mouth. Going to remove the "Y" as well, and going to cut it out of .125 ABS. I want a more thin profile on the "Y". I'll post more when I get closer to completion. TY again!

I was wandering if you would be able to email me a couple.of these such as the clone phase 3 helmet, my phone is stupid and will only let me dounload the stormtrooper helmet, all other downloads fail. Again, great work, and my sincere thanks!

Thanks, I'm glad my pep was helpful in your build. It's coming along nicely, can't wait to see the finished product.

Take your time in the long sanding sessions ahead, it will be worth it in the end.

I'm having some problems with a few of my pep files (some I got from here and others from other places). I once was able to open them and view them, print them, convert them to PDF etc but now every time I go to open them I get a message that says "File does not exist". I recently reorganized my Pepakura library but I doubt that has to do with it. Anyone know a reason for this?

That's odd. I have experienced that error once before. I believe it was generated by pepakura designer's inability to read certain characters in the files title that were foreign to the programs language file.

Try either renaming your PDO file or changing the files location on your drive and confirming that the file location paths are correct.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll try changing the name and location but how would I confirm the location paths? Is that like making sure I open it up from an external hard drive if thats where its stored?

No problem. Essentially yes, to make sure its located on the disk exactly where it's file properties specify.
