Hey Everybody.... well I thought that I measured it pretty accurately... but ya know, hey!!! If I am wrong, then hey!!! I am wrong.... anyway, I re-did the r2d2 parts with the new measurements and sent them to fierfek to re-post.. That is about it... later....

The download link for the TOR Imperial Trooper is gone..
The link never existed. I haven't finished that model and will continue working on that after I finish up some other models.

Well, pretty fast i think i have done my homework :P

I printed the legs and when i was taking out measures i realized that is a little small than the original

For public knowledge i take the data out of the r2 builders a blueprint of D.Buckley if you want them send your mail via pm

    Legs
    Correct scale H 785 mm
    Actual H 663 mm

    Dome
    Correct Scale W 465 mm
    Actual W 454 mm

    Body
    Correct scale H 563 mm
    Actual H 663 mm

    Foot
    Correct scale W 175 mm
    Actual W 142 mm

now when i get home i will start to try to rescale it to the proper size
Thanks for the info. I've been trying to find those measurements.

Yours looks like a different unfold. Did you unfold it yourself or use the one posted?
Regardless I'm just going to work on shaping it an straighten that bottom edge once it is in resin
I used my unfold, which is probably not 1:1. I was planning on modeling a new dome with more details later on anyway.

Thanks for being a good sport about this. Usually, people find that they have to rescale the stuff they download to suit their needs and purposes, so no big deal. I have replaced the old R2 links now.

That's awesome dude! Way to go above and beyond. I expected people would just adjust the scale. Thanks for taking the time to make it easy on us all

Hmmmm a full size land speeder would be pretty sweet to go along with my 3' tall tie fighter. Maybe I could scale one up big enough to make a soap box racer

Hol Crip, he's a crapple! Wow, seriously I was just asking so I could set my scale properly.- the unfold was great as it was! Thanks for attacking those again though! Another R2 question, is there any way to open the PDO back up in say, Max? Reason being that I've merged the R2 builder skin files into something useable as a texture and want to apply it to the model (so I don't have to then print it separately, and hope it wraps properly on top of the finished pep model). I'm an old Max and Maya guy so if I can get it exported I can also edit the mesh to add some of the simpler details into the dome and body.

Yes, since I don't lock my files you can export the model in pep designer. Of course, others have used this to their advantage in claiming my work, but that's to be expected for releasing unlocked files.

You will have to unfold the model again if you plan on editing it.

I have no plans to model that helmet at this point. There already is a good pep of this available.

Ah, okay, thanks again Firefek. Having to unfold again probably makes it not worth it then. To bad there's no native texturing tools in pep designer, or some way to keep the unfold information for the mesh

Now hear me out now... I might be on to something here.. This bed could be an almost foolproof lie detector.... If you are involved with a significant other... And they swear up and down that they are totally into the star wars saga... show them this bed.... a hardcore star wars fan would jump right in it like they were taking it for a spin.... A pretenders true colours would show in a instant... they would act like they were in a child's room... very handy......

Alright.... this is getting annoying...There are so many different little lego and baby versions on the net of the landspeeder.... Somebody just give me the simple dimensions for the toy and I will put them in. I will leave it to the rest of ya to blow it up, i might do it big size some other time....

Well I have been following this thread, and the work here is beyond belief. I figured I would post the little bit I have done as a thank you and modivation to the the hard workers in this thread.

I will be leaving it without the foot as it will be a prop for my girlfriend to play with in her Jawa costume. Thanks again Fierfek and Joe Pep for your hard work. Without it this wouldn't have been done for a long while, if ever.
