That's coming along nicely, how did the scale work for you? I might edit the helmet some more and probably have the model separated in three sections.

I know youre very busy, but did you ever think of trying a neo-mandalorian helmet?

Re: Fierfek's Star Wars pepakura file development

^ That would be a great project to do, I just wonder, while the face plate could definitly be done in pepakura the rest if done the same way would make it hard to move the head back and forth, maybe in foam it would work...one way to find out I suppose lol

I already have the original KOTOR model of the neo crusader, so it wouldn't be very hard to remodel the helmet. I'll add that to my to-do list.

Just to add, I made the Neo-Crusader armor and helmet files a long time ago, I don't know if the file links are still active or not but I put the files on the Mando Mercs site ages ago.

Re: Fierfek's Star Wars pepakura file development

on the mandalorian site aren`t any neo files, just some normal Boba Fett Helmets and stuff like that.

I know there is one file out somewhere, but in a very low def, it would be a pain to sand the big corners down......

Re: Fierfek's Star Wars pepakura file development

First off great work an all of your work so far.
I was lucky to find it since the external HD that had all of my other PDO files for costuming was lost in my most recent move.
My only question is about the scaling of your stuff, specifically the RC and Fett stuff. Is that scaled for the character height or is it scaled for something else.

Secondly if you stiil need help help unfolding some of your stuff let me know I should be able to handle any non-costume related since I am still a little new to the Pepakure Design program.

Re: Fierfek's Star Wars pepakura file development

I... am impressed. I've made all kinds of costumes on a budget and my hat's off to you guys. Attached are two shots of my 11 yr old Son's Pepakura Halo costume from Halloween. I worked about 3 months on it, and saved the helmet for last... big mistake. Had I had more time, the whole thing would have been better, but not bad considering. The paint scheme is all my son's work. The helmet was truly the toughest. I wasn't happy with it, but had to settle as I ran out of time.
Now my 9 yr old daughter wants to be a stormtrooper for next halloween. Needless to say, I'm starting now. Problem is... I can't find any pep files. Anyone? I'll share anything and everything if need be to find some.
Also thinking of going as Obi-wan Clone wars costume myself, but will need those pep files if any exist.

- Nevermind. Found ST files. Think I'll just improvise between ST, Darth V., and Republic Comdo for the few bits of armor Obiwan wears.

Re: Fierfek's Star Wars pepakura file development

Awesome work on your son's Halo armor.
As for the Stormtrooper pep files I found a set of those on the russian pep site that was mention earlier. They have alot of files from other sites as well.I did find files for Obi-wan and Anikan armor there but you will have to troll your way through their extensive library. Like I mentioned, alot of it comes from other sites and some are no longer available anywhere else or at least not as easy to find anymore. I think the site is Star Wars Model - it is in Russian for the most part but google does not seem to have much trouble translating it.

Re: Fierfek's Star Wars pepakura file development

Hello!
I'm from Germany and this is my first post here!
At the moment I'm building Imperial Gunner and Imperial Guard Helmets from Fierfek's pep files. Thank you for these files!

The work is still in progess, but soon I will make a thread of my building.

Now I'm looking for a Pep file from a Boushh Helmet. Is someone here who can post some files of this awesome helmet?

Here are some first pictures of my WIP helmets for the moment:

Re: Fierfek's Star Wars pepakura file development

Hi Fierfek, I tried to make the rest of your RC files and hope you´ll update te rest of them soon. There is just a bit of a problem with the shoulder part.

As you can see, the "attachments" of the shoulder are somehow unconnected with the rest of the file. Thirst I thought it´s just a small pekura mistake, but there is really no way to put the shoulder together.
Can you hlep me please?

You probably will have to rescale all parts except the Fett helmet of which I scaled by accurate dimensions. Try starting with the scale factor from the Fett helmet for the corresponding armor. Whoever unfolded the other parts used different scales.

I remodelled some parts on the TK chest for more accuracy and an easier build earlier. I haven't unfolded the model though. I'll have to send it to someone to unfold. The rest of the TK armor will be edited in time as well.

Yeah, I see what you mean about the intersecting pieces. I was going to go back and edit that anyway. I might as well update some of those details to spec while I'm at it. Sorry about that,I was going to fix that before I released it, but some were growing impatient.
