    Jun 25, 2012 - EVA Foam Sale #1

I thought some of you foam builders out there might like to know that Harbor Freight has EVA foam flooring on sale right now for 7.99 for a four pack.

4 Piece Anti-Fatigue Foam Mat Set

The sale is "in store only" but if you have one near you it might be a good time to pick some up. The sale ends at the end of the month.

Thanks for this (always looking for sales).

Also for those that have a PepBoys near them, about once a month, they have a 6 pack (and rolls) of EVA foam for sale. 6 pack can sometimes come down to be $10 and the Roll version ends up being about $12.

I bought the same foam 3 months ago for $7 a pack with a coupon. This price is not a "hurry and get it while it's hot" kind of price, just FYI. Also, the half inch thickness and odd density make it less ideal than other options IMO.

Oh great! Thanks a helluva lot!! Now I went and Googled my nearest Harbor Freight Tools and found one 1/3 of a mile away from my house. I got in my car and drove there. Walked in and purchased 6 packs of this EVA foam!!!

The point being I HAVE NO PROJECT TO WORK ON!!! <yet>

Thanks for the tip. Girl at the register asked me if I was lining my garage and I said no. I told her I was making a costume and she thought that was weird! But hey....life is weird!

Picked up a pack last night. The site states 14.99 as MSRP, but it was listed for 9.99 in the store (on sale for 7.99 at register).

So not quite the amazing deal it sounds like online, but still a good value imo. Also picked up a contour gauge and a magnet thing that I was hoping would work for sewing pins, but they only stick to the side

I had never been in a Harbor Freight before and it looks like a pretty cool place, so I will definitely be back for random bits and bobs. Looks like their bondo is the cheapest I have seen in my area. 1 qt was 8.99, 21.99 for the gallon

I've been there and seen it before and thought it was a little too thick as well.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Harbor Freight... I buy most of my tools there and my big huge thing of Bondo. Keep an eye out in newspapers or backs of magazines for 20% off coupons. I got my big thing of Bondo for about $18.

You can also buy cheap brushes in bulk there for about $6
