Thank you all for the positive comments! We added teeth to the sculpt last night and Mallie is at home today slaving over the clay to get it finished today! I am excited to get it molded and get the first cast out. Hopefully this weekend will bring an awesome update.

Ok, Its update time!!
Yesterdat the sculpt got finished as promised. Mallie did a beautiful job on it and even added some texturing. WOW! I am in love with this sculpt, I think this is one of my favorite we have ever done and it is HUGE, its something like 28-30 inch tall. So last night (against Mallie's better judgement, which is usually right I might add) I decided to mold this Groovy sculpt. Well nearly 6 hours later a 50# bag of plaster some busted up fingers a broken and repaired corner and dug out clay we ended up with a very nice mold with no surface damage. Tonight i will spend some time spraying out the mold and getting it ready for the cast. In the mean time check out the finished sculpt and look at that detail, ooooooooooh detail!

Oh sweet mother of all things amazing!
I was just playing the game the other night (downloaded the HD version on XBox Live) and thought to myself "Hmm, I've never seen anyone do a Jim costume...)
And yet here I am.
Sooo excited to see how this turns out. Looking incredible so far!!

Hey Everyone,
Sorry there are no updateds on this yet, I ran into a bit of a problem!
We used Spray paint to seal the clay, well it really stuck to the plaster which is not allowing the latex to dry in places, anyone gotta suggestion on hot to fix this?

Wish I could suggest something to help with your latex problem, hope you get it sorted.
Try to clean the paint out of the plaster mold with a little acetone and a good brush, should work out greatMalmeyStudios said:
