So everyone posts threads of their progress on TASM suit build. I thought I would post pics of all the sewing work that I have done.

Not going to lie, I was terrified when Crimzon (hubby) asked me to sew his first Miles Morales suit. :eek I took me days, I mean weeks to finally complete it. I was super nervous because husband is a perfectionist when it comes to his obession, um I mean, hobby. Plus I am my own worst critic! Crimzon will say how it looks amazing and i will still be sitting there trying to make it more perfect.

So yes we had busted seams and the suit didnt have "U" zipper. The invisible zipper went straight down back. But lessons learned and you learn how to improve with each mistake made.

So my next suit was a DamnGoodPaul suit for Jnasty. And lets just say there were A LOT of complications build wise and there was only so much altering that i could do without completely jacking up the design. Was I happy with the finished product yes and no..... I felt like i did the best i could but was just upset bc DGP designed it without even thinking about how it would be put together. (obviously we figured this out since he janked the deisgn and made it from mcleans. and what a failure.) But at least with all the problems and mistakes i learned more.

Then I put together Crimzon Scarlet Spider.

The biggest thing i noticed after doing this second Taylor suit was that it seemed to fit differnt. We ordered the same size as before but this fit was crazy tighter on Crimzon than before.

After doing those three, I felt like i had most, i said MOST NOT ALL, issues with these suits down and decided I would start sewing others suits for them since apparently a lot of people needed suits done.
I have done Mercyflush, Kcr7pr, and repaired BeastLusignan tasm suits.
Most suits I have done are Taylor McManus, with one Sonjou and one DamnGoodPaul (never again!). So here are some pics of the last few tasm suits.

My biggest thing to stress to people buying these suits it that they mainly come to fit height and an average weight. We all know you can weigh 250 and not look it or vice versa. All i can do is sew on the sew lines provided and and stretch when sewing and when putting zipper in to help the suit give some with your body. I do try my very best to make the best suit possible and am always wanting the best.

I hope I didnt ramble on too much for yall!

***NOTE***I am not a professional. I have had enough classes to be dangerous. lol I know the basics of how stuff should work and how it shouldnt. This has definitely been a learning experience for me as well.***

***PLEASE SEE POST ON PAGE 2, Post #45.... ZERO toleration of disrespect of any kind!***

Here are some updated pics of recent suits done... I have completed at least 65 suits total so far.... With each suit the work improves. I'm not the same as I was when first starting. So there are major improvements in zippers and with stretch stitching.

Invisible mask zip

UPDATE!
It will take 7-10 business days to sew up suit.

Trophywife, you're getting better every day!

Keep an eye out for some of the digital files/patterns to be improved (from what I've been hearing through the grapevine). There needs to be more size adjustments made to files so that it's not just based upon height.... this will ensure a better fit for each person's body.

Also, from conversations with my tailor, it is extremely difficult to sew things for people with no initial fittings (in-person). Hopefully the more customized the digital files become will make long-distance sewing work out better for the customers.

If you seen what she did with my suit (you'll see soon in my thread)
YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE YOUR EYES. She's a pro.. putting it straight to the point:thumbsup

Highly recommend her work!

Looks like great work to me! When I get a Sonjou suit, I'd love to have you sew it! (y)thumbsup

Forgot to post this also....Invisible zipper improvements!!!!:D

(y)thumbsup

Pretty nice work there TrophyWife! These suits aren't for the faint of heart. LOL So much of the stitching has to be right on with no margin for error.

I'd like to choke the s*** out of the person who came up with the u shaped zipper placement! LOL

Haha I know right.... they are freaking ridiculous! Plus those suits are tight enough as it is without having to Houdini into them through the back flap. Lol

Hi trophy wife wonder if you could give me advice. How do you make the zipper curve without sticking out at the sides (I e lay flat on the body) and what is the best way to reinforce the the gloves between the fingers? Thankyou hope you dont mind me asking

Thanks..... I put a zipper in back left side of mask when they want suit to be a one piece. But when mask is completely removable I don't use zipper. It's tight to pull over top of head bc it's biggest but once over that part it fits nicely to head.
