Go Get Retro seems like the right place to order one. As soon as they post up the size chart I'll be putting an order in there.
Yup that's where I'll be ordering it. I just call it Steady's jacket since...well, it's Steady's jacket. :P
Has anyone seen the Steady jacket? I mean, you all look to love that one and they're still being made. Did they use the original patterns? Do they use original fabrics/colours?
Steady hasn't released official images besides the ones on their website. We don't know much other than this is an official, licensed jacket.
I dont know...maybe its just me but such a striking piece deserves to be made at the hands of the original makers using the original materials. I dont mind paying the $850 for an exact recreation made by the guys who made the originals. Its just the legality of it. I sent Benach a detailed email attempting to shift through it all. I will post when she replies back.
I am sure Steadys will be a "decent" replica but it will be just that...a replica and why have a replica when for a few dollars more one can have the real thing...just my thinking anyway...

I just got off the phone with Steady Clothing they said they "MIGHT" being the key word, have the sizing chart up by friday.
I dont know why they would put an item up for pre-sale without having all the information available

you guys think that this jacket will be hard to come by if we don't pre-order it? I was thinking maybe I'd order it after some other people receive theirs and post pictures and describe the fit.

Exactly. Anyway it's a great looking jacket, but seriously guys, if It wasn't for the movie I don't think people would be lining up to buy it.... $159 sounds fair.

I will pre-order the Steady jacket in a Medium. If I am not thrilled with the look/fit, I will sell it on ebay and order Magnoli's "custom" jacket. I'm sure by selling on ebay you could at least get your money back.
i'm scared to place the order without a size chart...
