The lower price is below the Duty threshold so I will not need to pay the extra 12%. And the lower the cost the more likely it is that import control will let the VAT charge slide (although unlikely).
So for the GoRetro jacket I would have ended up paying at least $232
For the Daddy O's jacket I will be paying at most $157.
A difference of at least $75.
I did ask Cathy whether she could price match Daddy O's, which is common practice here, but she could not. She was very understanding but seemed very surprised that they could sell them at that price.

I ordered first from steady, but i didnt get any response for few days so i ordered also from gogetretro and cancelled order from steady. For me the most important thing is fast customer service. It was very fast from ggr and they accept paypal too.
From bussines view steady shouldnt sell this jacket to others company, do everything by themselves and earn some real money^^
Hey guys, just got my Drive jacket today. Thought I would throw up a few pictures. Some of you had me concerned over the sizing, but I must say this jacket fits like a dream. It's as if it was custom made for me.

The jacket got a mention on the UK's biggest radio station, Radio1, about an hour ago. The DJ, Fern Cotton, said that her boyfriend loved the jacket when he watched Drive. She said you can buy replica jackets and she was considering getting him one. Although she was not sure whether he would actually have the courage to wear it.
Despite my wife not being sure about the look of the jacket, I'll be wearing mine all summer. She has not yet watched the film, so maybe seeing Ryan in it may sway her opinion.

I downloaded the movie off iTunes and watched it with the guys at the fire house. The first thing when the jacket was shown, one of the guys pipped up "Now that is a awesome jacket!" which made feel better about my purchase.

I am still buying Magnoli's jacket, just don't know what color; kinda want that dark brown too! I have worn the steady jacket out probably 4 or 5 times by now, its an awesome jacket and very warm for the winter, which i did not anticipate.
Maybe have a jacket to wear and one to display.
