DRESSING A GALAXY DVD?

I have the dressing a galaxy normal version of the book ( no dvd etc ) is there anything on the dvd about Obi wan's costume and how it is made?

Thanks Guys, so there isn't anything worth seeing on the dvd ? I was thinking of buying the deluxe copy and selling my standard copy.

Does anyone have the DVD and has seen what&#39;s on it? I&#39;m curious too .

I have the disc. It&#39;s interesting enough but nothing great and often quite repetitive with footage reused several times. It certainly not worth shelling out big bucks for. I think it&#39;s a CD-ROM and not a DVD, but not sure.

sorry to hear that.... you can tell if it&#39;s CD-ROM as the side that is scanned is more gold colored whereas a DVD will be more purple...

I have it lying around somewhere, I&#39;ll try to confirm what type of disc it is.

It is indeed a DVD.

It&#39;s quite disappointing unless you love padme&#39;s costumes.

What did the description say about the DVD? The 365 days of SW came with a DVD and I still haven&#39;t gotten through all the set scans on that....sounds like it was a better deal than this one...sorry to hear....

i haven&#39;t even looked at my sw 365 dvd. thanks for the reminder that its in there&#33;

I wish I&#39;d gotten the deluxe version, just for the swatches.

I have the standard edition of the book but two friends have the Deluxe. I love the look of the Deluxe, with its beautiful covering and its binding of fabric from one of Padme&#39;s costumes. (very pretty and awesome to see up close) The swatches are indeed the best part because you can drool and mutter over them and reffer to them when going off to the fabric store to get supplies for &#39;That Costume&#39; you just HAVE to make...but they are somewhat random and you may not get one that you really need.

Other than that, I have found that some of the &#39;special&#39; footage on the DVDs is also available on the special movie dvds and is not all that insiteful when it comes to costume help. The extras on the LOTRs extendeds are much more helpful.

I believe that some people have been doing High Res scans of some of the swatches and posting them so you may find those just as useful. Try theforce.net.

As I said, love the look of the Deluxe and all its goodies but glad I got the standard...not as afraid to open the book to look at for refs and glad I didn&#39;t pay such a high price, especially after they jacked it up right before it was to come out.

Sorry to hear that, I had thought the DVD would have been more of a bonus.
