Stealth,
I've been wanting to ask you this:
Do you use blue LED or white? (also on arc reactor)
Did the blue on the video is the result of the camera only? (while using white LED?).
Thank you.
Fantastic Tutorial Stealth. When i get to that stage i'll be doing exactly like this.
These are some great videos. Well shot and well spoken too. You make it so easy for anyone to do this. Awesome stuff. Thanks!
You are really cranking these videos out after a little bit of a drought. Good to see. Nice video here wit a nice easy was to light up the unibeam.
*double posting like a boss*
Hey, do you use 3mm or 5mm LEDs?
Hey guys, I use 5mm white led's.
I think they even have Bright white as well. Just harder to find pre-wired for a cheap price. White does an amazing job as it is.
Me and some others scored some white 100x pre-wired for 16$ shipped on eBay.
thanks for posting this tutorial, it will be really helpful for anyone getting into this hobby![]()
Amazing Video Tutorial i'll surely be using this for help with my build!
Awesome work stealth. Thank you :]
GREAT SCOTT!!
That's another great tip stealth! I was looking online as finding LEDs for like $1.25 each. Did a search on eBay for "Pre wired leds" and found a bunch. Including your 100x for $16.99. I just ordered 20x for $5.20 shipped! I figure 20 should be enough.
Great find stealth.
stealth you always pushing the limit of the awesomeness man!!
i would like you doing a tutorial of a hinge systemmaybe even a faplate/jaw hing
DDD
that would be a nerdgasm !!! XD
Yea man I payed a little more (bought from someone in the US NJ... which should reduce shipping times). I paid $6 shipped for 10+got a free 9v battery connector with the order. Should have it by Wednesday.
I figured if I want to make more the next order will be for 20-100 and I will order from china for crazy cheap.
I tend to forget how amazing ebay can be. I stopped by my local radio shack and they were raping people on their prices.
I used some of your techniques stealth and modded two of the designs together to make this:
It looks just like a circle with no details like in the movie, but when taking a closer look, it has details designed inside.

Light off close up:

Yeah, true. Some scenes you see a little bit of detail. I was just being general. You can do what you like and be creative.
Nice job man.
Question stealth, why did you bend your LEDs over when you pushed them thru?
So that the light doesn't shine directly straight up. Showing all the led dots.
