Newbie here, I'm attempting to conjure up a TDK/R suit from a combo of UD replicas and a Coofunkcurly TDK cowl I have just purchased. As the cowl comes with a seperate neck piece, I was wondering what the costuming veterans here use for a mesh/under armor material on this cowl. Any tips on how to attach it would be great too!

It seems to be the right material, however, the minimum order amount is quite high (200kgs). Does anyone know of a cheaper/similar product?

Wow, thanks man that sounds really good. Too bad there are no pics (or maybe that's just my phone). Very affordable too as I may need more material to make an under cowl hood rather then just the neck piece. Do you have any experience with this seller?
No, I haven't had any experience with them. I'm afraid you'll have to risk it if you go with them. Although I have seen the site mentioned as a trusted supplier by the aforementioned "hardcore outdoor types" on their "make your own gear" forums (Here's an example).
The Thru-Hiker site linked above has a forum section - you can always post any questions with them. They list a phone number on their front page also. They've been in business for 12 years, so they can't be all bad. Just FYI; I'm not affiliated with the site or anything, it just happens that the subject matter crosses over two interests of mine.
If you get some of this material, post an update here with a review. I would love to know how this stuff is to work with.

For all of us putting together a UD Replia suit, this is really great info. Thanks for sharing the links to the mesh.
I can probably work something out, but does anyone have a source for the cape? Pattern would be nice, but I'd love to support one of our fellow prop-makers with an order for one if they are being produced.
