    Aug 17, 2007 - captain america again... #1

so a few years ago i made this costume for a fan film i am doing,

i am almost finished filming but after i became more familiar with what i can and cant do i find i like a whole new style of costume...
i have started cutting a new jacket VERY similar to the rocketeer jacket, with the darker realistic colors of captain america... i already have been making the WWII shields for a year and they came out nice... 16g rolled pressed steel... i have the hand made round shield i also started to make and sell, but i think i want to go back to the more timely WWII shield.
    what do you guys think?

actually there are 2 versions of the WWII shield, one is very large... and the other is a smaller size, though they are still both good sizes for a costume...

they are my issued basic leather combat boots, my dad is a leather worker, he added a heavy duty leather front piece and raised the boot up a few inches, then added buckles... they turned out very nice!
i can get you a few other pics if you want...
