Hello, I've always been a big fan of Saint Seiya, this Japanese animation was the gateway to many people aged between 21 and 28 years in Brazil in "otaku culture"(in Brazil OTAKU do not have a pejorative meaning, just means that a person is a fan of anime and manga).

in truth Saint Seiya started the movement otaku here, it comes to be larger than Dragon Ball.

So I decided to make the helmets of characters starting with the sagittarius

The first helmet WIP

in this picture you can also see the Nanosuit visor and right arm of mass effect Armax armor (an exclusive topic soon)

this is just a test of painting, I'll still take a mold

I hope you all enjoy

I'm still deciding which will be the next helmet. I'm between Scorpio and Capricorn

What about sandering? Do you use the fiberglass resin?

Your painted helmets are just made with paper? Am I right? Sorry, if there's misunderstanding.

I hardened with fiber glass, applied Bondo to make the details and sanded

Olá Balmung ! Eu tb sou brasileiro, e estou começando na arte de fazer props, armaduras e capacetes... tenho muitos projetos que estou iniciando em pepakura/papercraft, mas o meu sonho realmente é fazer pelo menos os capacetes dos 12 cavaleiros de ouro. Eu consegui só o arquivo em pepakura do Touro. Vamos manter contato para trocarmos idéias ! Grande abraço.

a small update:

I ended up choosing the Scorpio helmet, I still have some work to do in the sagittarius before the silicon arrives. I believe that by the weekend I'll have the mold ready

Wow, I grew up watching this show. Shura is actually one of my favorites characters in the series. I look forward to seeing that completed man!

Edit: I was just looking at the pictures without actually reading to the post, I just noticed you're brazilian. Bom ver um brasileiro com talento aqui nesse forum! Parabems meu! Quero ver esse "capacete" do Shura pronto!

When you get the torso armor may want to keep the chest and ab area seperate. You will have better mobility.
Chromed gold is very intersting to look at , but flat gold is a bit boring. You may want to use diffrent shades of gold in diffrent areas for contrast.
