Batman belt aluminum fabrication
Does anyone out there provide (or know someone who does) aluminum fabrication? I just need pieces for Batman utility belt buckles that I designed cut from a sheet (1/8" & 1/4") of aluminum. Any help would be appreciated!

I would guess because it is the cost of the manufacturing. I know a lot of people in the area here, but I don't know if they'd take on the project.

I'd guess it's because you posted in the costuming section and the thread title doesn't call out for a person to cut your project. Try the main propr forum, or off topic and I bet you'll find a person who can do it.
The Costuming forum may not be on the radar for the machinists on the forum. |

If you haven't found anybody yet, try contacting MikeTribal on the board here (one of the Zeist guys). He does a lot of waterjet cutting of tsuba and other parts (as well as his own casting in resin and bronze/brass) and is currently doing a set of waterjet cut "Eli Machetes".
Tell him I sent you and he should be able to help. |
