Avengers style Hawkeye and Nick Fury Costume W.I.P.

Sorry for not to many updates. I am having to concentrate my efforts towards my Captain America and Dark Knight costumes to get them done by the time the movie comes out. Please don't rely on templates or reference material coming from me, I will try my best to give some but I can't make any promises.

I'm not, I just find it easier to work with others as much as possible when it is possible.

Here is the S.H.E.I.L.D. logo. How is everyone planning on putting it on the costume?

Thanks for the photo. I am planning on putting it on the costume by using velcro, hot glue, or sewing it on. It depends on the fabric I use for the vest and how I create the logo.

you could do an Iron On then embroid it if you had the time an skill... that might be a bit of a hassle though...

that is to say that you would print up the Iron On and use it as a template to stitch in the embroidery

The logo on his costume looks like it is tooled out of black leather. I will probably do exactly that. Either tool it out of a leather circle, or more likely, cut leather and glue it on top of a leather circle. I will have to look at it really closely to see which would work better.

Looking at it further, it looks like I will probably try a combination of the two, since some parts look like they are indented from the circle, and some parts are raised.

Sadly no, I am trying to get my Batman costume completely done, then Captain America completely done, then hawkeye. If I get tired of the bat or cap for a while I will work on it. I started the hawkeye costume before but I had to scrap it because of inaccuracies. All I have now is a better plan on how to make but no new progress.

I've been working on a 3D model of the patch, that will be printed, molded and cast in urethane rubber.

For the vest I was going to use a compression sleeveless shirt and then work from there. For the pants I am still looking for a good pair of tactical pants or something close to it.
