i think the jacket just has more of a matte finish leather look rather than it being a windbreaker jacket, yeah i'm pretty sure it's the same JV jacket but with a the different leather finish, say they're tough to find at this point in time though!
went back to the very start of the thread and realised the boots had already been found and identified which are Frye Rogan Hiker boots as spiderfan11 had pointed out

Not sure if people are still lookin, but I found some similar Nike's, on sale at Zumiez:

They only have sizes 8 and 9 left, but you can find the same shoes at other sites and eBay and stuff. The shoes aren't identical, but they're some of the closest I've seen!

So anyway, I sweettalked my boyfriend into making some cosplay, mainly his spidey suit, but also some casual Peter as well, since he has the body complexion just right n.n he's reeeeally skiny and kinda tall so it'll look perfect on him. And i thought, i might as well make a Gwen cosplay with him too n.n
I was looking for a suitable choice for her boots, which she wears in almost all her outfits, and I found this..

Got lucky on some sold out colorway Dunks, the soles are still the wrong color but some paint will soon fix that.

Figured this was as good of a time as any to come in and say hello. I've been working on Gwen Stacy's costumes for awhile, and am piecing things together. I only have one completed shot to show for it. This was from SDCC 2012, just a couple of weeks back.
The OSCORP assistant outfit was a quickie put together a couple of days before the con due to various hiccups along the way. (Don't, we won't go there!) The lab coat and the 'dress' underneath are the official TASM costume pieces that all came together with the ID badge and headband (the latter of which I'm not wearing). From there, I went about tweaking things. I replaced the houndstooth style print headband that came with the costume with my own more accurate black headband, and we used some white iron on patching to cover up the red spider that was on the lab coat for what I can only guess was some added bling. My wig was a find courtesy of some friends who know more about hair than I do, and I threw it up in a ponytail. The black thigh high style socks are actually boot liners, and the boots were the fruits of many, many hours of searching online. So that Gwen was SDCC ready for me! I also toted around a small Spidey plush.
However, I'm working on a much more screen accurate version of Gwen's costumes! My collection is small, but growing.
This is what's presumed to be Gwen's screen accurate skirt beneath her OSCORP lab coat. I didn't have a top that was suitable to go with it, though, so I just went with the 'dress' that came with the official outfit.
And here is the screen accurate dress from the last scene in the movie at school.
So there's the beginnings of my collection! I'm looking to add to it however I can.

How do we know they didn't buy these shoes and custom paint the soles and toe cap area? I checked the style number on my shoes and they're from around the time it's plausible they started buying wardrobe. Why they would do this? Who knows. But you could say the same about the Asics.
Cool nikes! I got ones that are accurate gray, inaccurate black lol, but they'll be good for my husband's everyday wear n.n im still wondering on the olive green coat, i saw an Alpha Industries coat that could work, it's not 100% perfect, but still, good for the husband's everyday wardrobe
As for the Asics, i bought the same i think everybody else got, the white ones which Andrew also wears while he's testing the web shooters, which means they didnt have a red pair of sneakers, they just painted these details on them for the suit :3
Having had the Asics in my possession though they were slightly modified before he turns them into the suit. For example they had already colored the soles blue and red.peytonriley said:

Also, you can find numerous alts for the Vince coat but I'm holding out for a stroke of luck with the real deal.
Anyone been looking for clothes for the 'high school' version of Gwen Stacey? No matter how much I search I cannot find a matching or similar sweater vest/tank top thingy that she wears as seen here:

I'm thinking of making everythin myself in that outfit. You could always get a thin v neck vest and sew ribbons on the edge like that one has, the white tee is easy, and the skirt i think it's grey denim.. Please someone correct me if im wrong :3 idk about brands cause I live in Argentina, so if anybody spots these it'd be nice n.n
